Lebenslauf Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sadao Sato
Prof. Sato zählt zu den international renommiertesten
Kieferorthopäden.
Seit 1996 ist er als Professer am Kanagawa Dental College, Japan
tätig, wo er derzeit auch als Rektor fungiert.
Prof. Sato hat die bewährte Multiloop Edgewise Archwire Methode
(MEAW) zur Kieferregulierung entwickelt. Diese Methode ist durch
zahlreiche Studien belegt und wissenschaftlich geprüft.
Auch in Österreich ist Prof. Sato bereits seit über 10
Jahren als Gastprofessor tätig.

In diesem postgradualen Continuum, das
modular über einen Zeitraum von ca. 2 Jahren läuft, lehrt
Prof. Sato sowohl die theoretischen Ansätze, sowie auch die praktische
Umsetzung von Konzepten und Behandlungsmethoden für Patienten
mit Malokklusion.
Bei diesem Continuum müssen alle TeilnehmerInnen eine bestimmte
Anzahl von eigenen Patientenfällen präsentieren.
Hier wird von Prof. Sato größter Wert gelegt auf eine korrekte
und standardisierte Dokumentation des Patienten, wie sie im VieSID
Curriculum gelehrt wird.
Ab Modul C sind eigene Patiententage eingeplant, an denen die Patienten
persönlich anwesend sein können.
Für diese Patienten werden die KursteilnehmerInnen mit Unterstützung
des Kursleiters ein individuelles Therapiekonzept erstellen.
Die Behandlung dieser PatientInnen erfolgt in eigener Verantwortung
der als Zahnarzt/Zahnärztin praktizierenden KursteilnehmerInnen.
Da der gesamte Kurs in englischer Sprache abgehalten wird, sind die
